Today's community-based professionals require understanding of the areas where criminal justice administration intersects with the human services field. Specifically, knowledge and skills in the areas of: crime and delinquency prevention; public safety; coordination with public sector partners; community building; intervention initiatives; and social justice. The Graduate Certificate in Community Justice Studies provides students the opportunity to learn skills and gain knowledge that will enable them to respond more effectively to social justice issues and challenges in their communities.
